Real estate agent and Bulls fan James Hargrove has a theory about how the Chicago Blackhawks won the NBA title in the playoffs: they were so good they got by the Chicago Bears.

Hargrock posted the theory on his blog, which has since been shared over 400,000 times.

“When the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Sun-Times played the Chicago Cardinals in the National League Championship Series last spring, we thought we had them beat,” he wrote.

“But it was a complete fluke.

When they played the Houston Astros in the World Series, we knew we had a game-winning shot at winning it all.

The only way it would have been possible was if they had won the championship.””

We could have gone into the playoffs with a 3-1 lead and never been stopped by a team that had the best offense in the league, a defensive unit that could hold its own in the postseason, and a team with a team of superstars,” Hargrocket wrote.”

The fact that they were in the Super Bowl and didn’t win it, we just couldn’t believe it.”

Chicago fans were disappointed after the game, with some calling it “the worst season in Chicago’s history.”
